Built by an electrician, for the people who hire them
A working electrician building a crew that contractors can count on, for the commercial and industrial jobs where the schedule cannot slip.
The short version
Optimal Power Solutions, LLC supplies electrical labor to contractors and general contractors across Jacksonville & Northeast Florida. Journeymen, apprentices, low voltage technicians, and working crew leads, placed onto commercial and industrial jobs and working under your license. You hold the contract and the scope. We make sure the people who show up can do the work.
Why we do it this way
This company is run by a working electrician, not a recruiter with a phone list. That is the whole difference. Most labor brokers cannot tell you whether the person they are sending can bend a decent pipe or read a panel schedule, because nobody at the company has ever done it. They send bodies and hope. We send electricians, and we know what we are sending, because the person vetting them has spent the day doing the same work.
What a short crew actually costs you
Every contractor knows the math. A schedule slips because two electricians did not show on Monday, the GC starts asking questions, and the trades stacked behind you start charging for the delay. The labor was never the expensive part. The gap was. That is the problem we are built around, which is why reliability is the product here and not a line on a brochure.
In it for the long run
We are a young company, and we treat that as an obligation rather than a disclaimer. There is no decades old reputation here to coast on. There is the last crew we sent and the next one we are about to send. So we would rather tell you we cannot cover a job than send someone who is not ready and burn the relationship on one week of billing. Reputation in this trade compounds, and we are playing for the compounding.
A note from the founder
I started this company from the jobsite side, not the office side. I have been the guy on a crew that was short two hands on a Monday, and I have worked next to people who were sent out by an agency that clearly never asked them a single technical question. Both are avoidable. When you call us, you are talking to someone who has done the work and who will tell you straight whether we can cover your job. If we send you someone who is not what we promised, I want to hear about it from you directly, and I will fix it.

How We Operate
The standards behind every crew we send out.
Reliability
Crews that show up on time, every day. If someone cannot make it, you hear it from us early, not from an empty jobsite.
Competence
We screen for skill, not for a resume. Every electrician carries a skill profile so you know what you are getting before they arrive.
Accountability
One number to call. Problems come back to us and get handled by us, not pushed onto your superintendent.
Safety
OSHA and NFPA 70E training is the floor. Nobody goes onto your site who treats safety as paperwork.
Straight answers
If we cannot staff it, we say so. A fast no is worth more to you than a slow maybe.
Respect for the trade
The electricians we place are people with careers, not line items. Treating them well is what keeps them showing up for you.
